Description
The
Program Coordinator holds a pivotal position in the management and supervision
of diverse projects across cities such as Aleppo, Homs, and Banias. He / She
also encompasses strategic planning for effective program execution with close engagement
with program staff and the local community. The coordinator travels to project
distribution areas in Homs & Banias to assess progress and challenges faced
by IGAs; It also reviews, corrects, and updates the local teams' field visit
reports and provides constructive comments on the weekly reports submitted.
Responsibilities
· Maintain daily communication
via phone and email with staff in the cities to coordinate activities and
monitor loan repayments.
· Collaborate with the teams in
Homs and Banias to ensure timely loan installments for all income-generating
activities (IGAs).
· Develop action plans for each
of the three cities (Homs, Aleppo, and Banias) in close consultation with local
staff.
· Conduct field visits to assess
the progress and challenges of IGAs in Aleppo.
· Review, correct, and update
field visit reports prepared by local teams in Homs, Aleppo, and Banias.
· Provide constructive feedback
on weekly reports submitted by staff in the three cities.
· Adapt program strategies as
needed based on changing requirements and time constraints.
· Support the program
responsible during the preparation of quarterly and final reports (collect,
organize, and verify information from the cities).
· Work closely with the program
responsible for annual evaluations.
· Make decisions beyond routine
tasks in consultation with the program responsible.
· Offer professional advice to
IGAs and assist in identifying potential markets.
· Solicit feedback from
beneficiaries, promote reciprocity, and propose continuous workflow
improvements.
· Engage closely with
beneficiaries to ensure their IGA success.
· Ensure timely delivery of IGA
supplies to beneficiaries.
· Prepare and submit monthly
reports to the project responsible.
· Create unique volunteer opportunities
within the labor sector and involve volunteers at all stages of work.
·
Conducting research and establishing connections related to
economic events in Aleppo to generate investment opportunities to benefit
project stakeholders
comprehensive documentation of work stages and success stories.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Economics, Small
Enterprise Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of two years of experience in
professional support and small projects.
3. Basic knowledge of feasibility studies and
labor market analysis is preferred.
4. Experience in designing and implementing
monitoring and evaluation plans.
5. Proficient in written and verbal communication,
with the ability to create clear and concise reports and presentations.
6. Fluent in English.
