St. Ephrem Patriarchal Development Committee (EPDC) It is a social, non-governmental, non-profit, non-political organization that operates under the patronage of the Syriac Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch and All the East, and it is directly affiliated with His Holiness Mar Ignatius Aphrem II, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and under the direction of His Eminence Bishop Mar Boutros Kassis, General Manager of the Committee. The Committee provides its humanitarian services to the Syrian community in the relief, development and peace building sector, through its health, educational, sanitation and livelihood restoration programs, early recovery, capacity building and various community initiative
